How to Upload a Raster From Arcpro to Arcgis Online

From ArcGIS Pro, you can writer and share web imagery layers to ArcGIS Enterprise. These web layers expose the selected raster dataset. The default configuration allows users to view the dataset and its associated metadata. You lot must be a member of a portal function that has the privilege to publish server-based layers to share a spider web imagery layer, and you must be signed in to the active portal as that member.

Tip:

Web imagery layers are shared from the Catalog pane, not the Contents pane nor the Share tab on the main ribbon.

Share a web imagery layer using the default configuration

Follow these steps to share a web imagery layer to the active ArcGIS Enterprise portal:

  1. To share a web imagery layer, correct-click a raster dataset in the Catalog pane and click Share equally Web Layer Share as web layer.

    The Share As Spider web Layer pane appears.

  2. Provide a name for the web layer.
  3. Complete the Summary and Tags fields.
  4. Choose Reference registered data or Copy all data.

    Choosing Copy all data will create a copy of the dataset on the ArcGIS Image Server.

    When using Share As Spider web Layer to share web imagery layers to ArcGIS Enterprise, the default Layer Type is Imagery.

  5. Nether Location, utilise the Folder menu to cull a folder in your portal content in which to store the web layer. Optionally create a folder.

    By default, the spider web layer is stored at the root level of your portal content.

    Tip:

    Click the Scan button Browse to browse to a folder in your portal content. You can also type a binder name in the text box.

  6. Use the Server and Folder drop-downward menus to specify the federated server where the service will be published and the folder where it will be stored. Optionally create a folder.

    By default, the service is stored in the root folder of the server.

    The Server and Folder options appear merely if you are sharing to ArcGIS Enterprise using the Reference registered information option. In this case, you tin too click the Data Stores button Data Stores to open the Manage Registered Information Stores pane. Use this pane to annals geodatabases and folders with federated servers.

  7. Nether Share with, specify how the web layer will exist shared:
    • Everyone—This option makes your content public. Anyone can access and run across information technology.
    • My Arrangement—This option allows your content to be shared with all authenticated users in the organization.
    • Groups—You lot can share your content with groups to which you belong and their members.
  8. Optionally click the Content tab to meet the folder construction and sublayers of the spider web layer.
  9. Under Finish Sharing, click Analyze to check for issues.

    Errors and warnings are listed on the Messages tab. Right-click a message to open its aid topic or take cosmetic action in the software. Errors Error must be resolved earlier you lot tin can share the spider web layer. Resolving warnings Warning is recommended only not required.

  10. After you have resolved errors, and optionally resolved warnings, click Publish to share the web layer.

Spider web imagery layers cannot be shared to Portal for ArcGIS 10.3.1 or earlier.

Share information in the cloud
